When members of the school community choose to support the school with a donation - regardless of size - families and donors know that it is a good investment of their tuition and philanthropic dollars. Families become inspired by such commitments and large funders such as corporations and foundations are convinced that the school is a good investment of their gifts and grant funding.

The community recognizes that nonprofit board members are volunteers and that nonprofit salaries are typically not competitive with the for-profit industry. External constituencies understand that our community’s commitments represent dedication to their vocations and to the school. It’s not just a job, it’s a calling. Internal participation underscores the value of SMR’s curriculum, while validating the need for philanthropic support to execute the school’s mission.

Last year, every member of our Board of Trustees contributed philanthropically.

Additionally, 83% of our faculty and staff donated! 

This year, we are hopeful achieve 100% participation from Faculty and Staff - approximately 110 members - for the first time in school history.

Donors may choose how they contribute (Knight Raffle, Direct Donation, or Payroll Deduction); the area of support; and how much they can give. EVERY GIFT IN ANY AMOUNT IS COUNTED EQUALLY!!

Principal Campbell has challenged us to reach 100% participation with a FULL WEEK OF TAG DAYS FOR FACULTY AND STAFF when we return from Christmas break (January 5-9).
