A Message From Our President
Dear Friends of St. Mary’s Ryken,
As we reflect on another year of growth and service, I want to highlight the profound value of simplicity—one of our five Xaverian values. Grounded in humility, trust in God, zeal for the Xaverian Brothers’ mission to educate, and compassion for others, simplicity invites us to free our hearts, minds, and souls for the vital work of bringing children’s hearts closer to God.
At St. Mary’s Ryken, we strive to live the Xaverian values, ensuring that every decision we make aligns with our mission to serve all people, especially those in need. Simplicity guides our choices, helping us create an inclusive, welcoming community where all are valued and empowered. Through this lens, we continue our work, nurturing the hearts and minds of our students, and ensuring that they grow into compassionate leaders ready to make a difference in the world. We are deeply grateful to all of our generous supporters whose contributions throughout the year have made our mission possible. Your donations have funded special projects like the renovation of our chapel and the improvements to our stadium, creating spaces that enrich the student experience.
Most importantly, gifts to the Knight Fund help bridge the $3,000 gap per student between the price of tuition and what it actually costs to provide a St. Mary’s Ryken education. Your support ensures that we can continue to offer this transformative education to all, regardless of financial means.
This report highlights some of the most impactful philanthropy milestones throughout 2023-2024 and acknowledges all the donors who supported our efforts this past school year. Thank you for your steadfast partnership. Together, we are building a bright future for our students and our community.
God bless,
Rick Wood
