Giving at SMR

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and the Xaverian Brothers left a legacy of Catholic education for us in Southern Maryland. Today, St. Mary's Ryken is a vibrant community because of their drive and determination - and also because of YOUR generosity. St. Mary's Ryken is grateful to all those whose thoughtful planning has helped ensure a secure future for the school.

Our academic excellence has been sustained by the commitment and vision of generous donors whose gifts have improved campus facilities, strengthened faculty and academic resources, and provided access for students, regardless of their financial backgrounds.

The Knight Fund

When you support the Knight Fund or contribute to scholarships, academics, arts and athletics, YOU make a difference in the lives of every student. We are grateful for your support!

Your support is vital to what makes St. Mary's Ryken extraordinary and provides the resources our students need to achieve in the classroom, create in the arts, excel in athletics and grow in their faith life while becoming more compassionate and caring young adults.

"As teenagers we recognized that we were fortunate to attend SMR, over the last thirty years we frequently reflected upon our SMR experiences and gratitude for that opportunity. Our commitment to SMR increased with the attendance of our sons who are 2011, 2013 and 2016 graduates. We support the school's annual fund because we recognize and value that the experience of attending SMR increases Catholic identity while providing college preparatory level learning. SMR is a unique treasure."
