Students will learn basic cooking techniques in the St. Mary’s Ryken kitchen. Making salsa will teach how to chop an onion. Homemade mac ‘n cheese will teach us how to make a white sauce (roux). We will make pasta, eggs, salads, summer drinks and desserts. A guest chef will demonstrate cooking a delicious steak. Students are asked to contribute one family recipe. Students must wear closed-toed shoes and tie up long hair. Space is limited - register early!
