Donnie Williams Center Mission
The Donnie Williams Center integrates health and wellness curriculum and programs into St. Mary’s Ryken and the larger Southern Maryland community to benefit our students, staff and friends of SMR. The Donnie Williams Center is a centralized, all-inclusive wellness facility, designed to strengthen, inspire and empower our entire community on their journey toward a balanced and healthier lifestyle. Aligned with the St. Mary’s Ryken mission and Xaverian Brothers’ core values, the Donnie Williams Center is a place to gather, to connect and to explore wellness through intellectual, occupational, physical, social, emotional and spiritual activities.
Donnie Williams was a proud alumnus of St. Mary’s Ryken high school and successful businessman. The Donnie Williams Center is a tribute to Donnie’s belief in the power of education, physical fitness, and community for all.
Beloved Donnie Williams
A member of the Ryken High School Class of 1971, Donnie Williams attributed much of his success to the values and discipline he was taught by the Xaverian Brothers.
The St. Mary’s Ryken community is grateful for the support from the Donnie Williams Foundation. It is our pledge to honor Donnie’s legacy by staying true to the Xaverian Brother’s values and ensuring the Donnie Williams Center is a facility where students, faculty, staff and the community are always welcome.
