St. Mary's Ryken Swimmers Competed in Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swimming and Diving Championship
The St. Mary's Ryken swim team competed in the Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swimming and Diving League championship meet. At the end of the qualifying prelims,12 swimmers made the finals. Freshman Jameson Smith set a new 100 Backstroke record with a time of 106.32.
Junior Joni Gordon, Junior Samantha Pennell, Sophomore Bella Longmore and Sophomore Mallory Thompson bested the 2013 200 Free Relay record of 1:52.98, establishing a new mark of 1:50.79.
