The Sports Medicine team works closely with the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics; the Southern Maryland Orthopaedic Division and with MedStar Health for the medical needs of the student-athletes.  You are not required to see only these physicians.  Whenever you go to a doctors office, you are required to provide the school and athletic trainers with documentation in regards to their injury status and any restrictions that St. Mary's Ryken needs to be aware of.   To help with documentation, we highly encourage you take an Athletic Injury Referral form for orthopedic injuries and Concussion Clearance form for concussions.
