Financial aid at St. Mary's Ryken is based on each family's ability to pay. The primary responsibility for funding a child's education lies with the family. As such, we expect that each family will fund the child's education to the extent that they are able. Our financial aid program is designed to aid families after they have considered all of their own resources.
Financial aid is available for qualifying families from both the Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) and SMR. Applications for tuition assistance must be completed by using the tuition assistance program (TADS). To apply for ADW and SMR assistance, parents must only complete one TADS Financial Aid and Assessment form.
For the 2021-22 school year, TADS applications are due on December 4, 2020. In order to be considered by both the Archdiocese of Washington and St. Mary's Ryken, you must apply by December 4, 2020.
Applications submitted after December 4 will only be considered by St. Mary's Ryken.
You must complete the St. Mary's Ryken admissions application process in order to receive a financial aid determination. Financial aid decisions are communicated with admissions decision packages, no sooner.
You will need to create a personal account to use the online application. SMR's school code is 51163.
Financial Aid will remain the same each year through graduation given that the student successfully completes each academic year.
