September 3, 2024 – SMR Admissions Application for the 2025 – 2026 school year opens

October - December 2024 – Knight for a Day visits on campus. The registration link is available on the Knight for a Day page of the SMR website.

October 2024 – TADS application for financial aid opens. For best consideration, financial aid applications should be complete and in good standing by December 16, 2024.

October 7, 2024 – High School Placement Test (HSPT) Registration opens

October 13, 2024 – Open House at St. Mary’s Ryken.

November 25, 2024 – Authorization to Release Records Form due to ADW 8th grade teacher and HSPT Registration deadline

December 4, 2024 – HSPT at ADW Schools

December 13, 2024 - SMR Admission Applications and completed Admissions Checklist items due to SMR by midnight

December 16, 2024 – TADS applications due

Early January 2025 – Families receive HSPT results from Scholastic Testing Service (STS) via the email used to register for the exam

January 25, 2025 – Scholarship Day at SMR

February 21, 2025 – Class of 2028 Admissions decisions, scholarship and financial aid determinations communicated to parents

March 14, 2025 – Class of 2028 Registration Day at SMR

The St. Mary’s Ryken Scholars Program offers accelerated curriculum concentrations to our students who want a more rigorous and advanced course of study.

Students who wish to be considered for the St. Mary’s Ryken Scholars Program should indicate their interest on the “Additional Information Form”. The Additional Information Form is available on the Admissions Checklist after the admissions application has been submitted. You are able to indicate your child’s preference in Scholars Program Pathway. Students who indicate an interest are reviewed by the Dean of Academics and decisions are communicated as part of the admissions decision process.
