SAT Prep Classes

SMR offers SAT Prep class for interested 9th - 12th grade students. These are ten-session classes focusing on test format and strategies for success. Students who wish to improve their SAT scores and/or develop a better understanding of how this test works are encouraged to register.

During the Classes, Students Will:

  • Familiarize themselves with the test format and content to avoid surprises on test day.

  • Learn and practice test-taking skills and strategies specific to the SAT

  • Understand common mistakes and how to avoid them

  • Gain confidence in their test-taking abilities through independent practice

  • Take three full length digital tests

  • Use College Board/Khan Academy account to track areas of strength and those in need of further study

  • Be prepared for the SAT administration.
