1:1 iPad Program

SMR is committed to staying on the cutting edge of technology and using technology to enhance teaching and learning. To prepare students to take their place in a world that is increasingly global and continually changing, SMR developed the 1:1 iPad program; established a student, faculty and parent portal; and created a 100 percent Wi-Fi-enabled campus.

iPad Purchase Program

All students are required to bring their own iPad to Freshman Orientation and beginning on the first day of school.

iPad Requirements for Current Students

If you currently own an iPad or plan to purchase a new one, the minimum requirements are:

  • 128 GB
  • Current generation
  • Able to run the most recently released iPad OS
  • Wi-Fi only model is preferred
  • iPad mini is not acceptable.
