Coaches Honored as WCAC Coaches of the Year

 

St. Mary’s Ryken is proud to congratulate four of our outstanding coaches who have been recognized as Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) Coaches of the Year for the 2024–25 school year!

 

 

• OJ Lewis (Softball) - Coach Lewis has been the Head Softball Coach at St. Mary's Ryken since the 2022 season. 
• Jon Lombardo (Boys Lacrosse) - Coach Lombardo has been the Head Boys Lacrosse Coach at St. Mary's Ryken since the 2020 season. 
• Chris Palombi (Boys Ice Hockey) - For the second year in a row, Coach Palombi earned this award for his dedication to the boys ice hockey team. Chris has been a Head Ice Hockey Coach at St. Mary's Ryken since the 2009-2010 season. 
• Gary Wynn (Football) - Coach Wynn has been the Head Football Coach at St. Mary's Ryken since the 2022 season.

Each coach earned this prestigious honor for their exceptional leadership, commitment to excellence, and positive impact on their teams and the broader SMR community. Their guidance, mentorship, and dedication to student-athletes help define the spirit of SMR athletics.
