HONORS MODERN HISTORY
This course is an in-depth study of the world's great civilizations from 1500 to the present. Geography, writing, research skills, and the interpretation of historical and literary sources are emphasized. Students are expected to do presentations, outside readings other than the textbook, and long-ranger projects.
