The girls team finished fourth overall and the boys ninth.

]]> Mon, 13 May 2013 19:00:00 -0000 <![CDATA[SMR team captures third at the Maryland History Fair]]> http://www.smrhs.org/page.cfm?p=3077&newsid=374 http://www.smrhs.org/page.cfm?p=3077&newsid=374 Congratulations to Jimmy Wilkerson, Austin Short and Julien McDermott for their performance at the Maryland State History Fair. Their project took third place in the group website category.

Over 18,000 students in Maryland participated this academic year with 550 students advancing to the state level competition.

History teacher and moderator Mr. Stevenson Foote received the "History Day Teacher of the Year" award for St. Mary's County.
