             Student Government Association (SGA)

The Student Government Assoiciation (SGA) is two-fold in its purpose. SGA & SAC which acts as an umbrella for all non-athletic activities in the school and speaks for the students of SMR in all matters pertaining to students. SGA committees plan and carry out many of the extra-curricular activities of the school. SGA officers and class officers are elected.

              Student Activities Council (SAC)

The Student Activities Council (SAC) organization acts as the primary student representative body, the student Activities Council promotes school spirit, provides a focal point for discussions between students and staff, and gives students a representative voice in college affairs. I a major part of the SGA (government body). SAC utilizes funds through fundraisers and with these funds, the Council plans activities and provides services to enhance the social, personal, and professional life of SMR students.  This is not an elected position, it is an appointed position by the SGA Moderator.
