St. Mary’s Ryken is a Catholic, coeducational, college preparatory school community operated under the Xaverian Brothers’ sponsorship dedicated to academic excellence and individualized student growth. St. Mary’s Ryken has a student population of 700, with 99% matriculating to colleges and universities. SMR is located in Leonardtown, MD, situated on 87 acres of Breton Bay waterfront. Head Football Coach
A master's degree and at least five years coaching a successful program is preferred. A candidate must possess strengths in the areas of organization, program building, inbound and outbound recruiting, retention and work ethic.
The St. Mary's Ryken Football Program has a professional level playing surface and facilities, which will be augmented by a new athletic center locker in 2018-19.
St. Mary’s Ryken is a member of the highly competitive and nationally recognized Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. The institution recruits students who are competitive not only on the field but in the classroom. The college preparatory educational setting attracts students from the local southern Maryland area as well as neighboring counties and Washington D.C.
