Schedule a Shadow Visit
A shadow visit is a great way to explore St. Mary's Ryken High Scool. A potential student accompanies one of our student for a day.

Guidelines to Spend a Day with a Knight
Arrangements to shadow must be made through the Admissions Office. Please indicate on your permission form if you would like to shadow a particular student or see a particular class (i.e band, dance or chorus). We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Below are some other guidelines to help you plan for your visit:

Drop Off: Students should check in at the Admissions Office in Romuald Hall by 8:00 a.m.

Pick Up: Students should be picked up from the Admissions Office at 2:00 p.m. Students riding the bus or carpooling with a SMR student may stay until 2:37 p.m.

Dress: If students attend a Catholic elementary school, they should wear their school uniform. Otherwise, student visitors should wear slacks and a collared shirt. Girls may wear a skirt; however, it must touch the top of the knee. Keep in mind, SMR is like a small college campus with students moving between four academic buildings throughout the day, so please dress for the weather and consider comfortable shoes.

Lunch: will be provided compliments of SMR unless students choose to bring one from home.

Other: Students may want to bring a book to read or homework to do in the event their host student has a test.
