Our Network

St. Mary's Ryken has a robust network infrastructure consisting of fiber optic cabling between all buildings on a 3Gbps backbone with 100Mbps switched connections to all wired ports.  Our wireless network offers 802.11g connectivity.  Access to the wireless network is restricted to school owned computers.

Technology Facilities

Two computer labs in Rupert Hall are used as classrooms throughout the day for Computer Science and Business Technology.  There is a computer Lab in the Learning Resource Center where students are envouraged to use state of the art computers to complete assignments. 

We have four laptop carts with wireless access points for the faculty to bring the lab to their classrooms.  Teachers from all departments can take advantage of these resouces.

 Every classroom  is outfitted with a permanently mounted projector, an interactive mimio board, and speakers.  Every Faculty member has a tablet PC to use to play DVD and take advantage of the latest in curriculum media.
