Our Network

St. Mary's Ryken has a robust network infrastructure consisting of a fiber optic backbone between all buildings. 

Our wireless network offers 802.11g connectivity. We are currently in the process of upgrading 802.11. Access to the wireless network is restricted to school owned computers.

Technology Facilities

Two computer labs in Rupert Hall are used as classrooms throughout the day for Computer Science and Business Technology.  There is a computer Lab in the Learning Resource Center where students are envouraged to use state of the art computers to complete assignments.  We have a small network in the language lab in Xavier and one for college research.

We have five laptop carts with wireless access points for the faculty to bring the lab to their classrooms.  Teachers from all departments can take advantage of these resouces.

 Every classroom  is outfitted with a permanently mounted projector, an interactive mimio board, and speakers.  Every Faculty member has a tablet PC to use to play DVD and take advantage of the latest in curriculum media.
