COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to prepare students to take the AP French Language exam.  Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary, verbs, verb tenses, grammar, French history, French literature, and listening/speaking skills (oral communication).  All of these areas are components of the AP exam.  It is imperative, however, that students take the initiative and pursue independent study of the subject matter.  The amount of material to be learned cannot be covered in class during the school year.
