Some pieces to enjoy: Concerto in D Major for Violin and Orchestra-I. Allegro Moderato Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, solo violin This is one of the most challenging pieces ever written for solo violin. Tchaikovsky was first told by many violinists that this piece was "unplayable". He and a fellow violinist proved them wrong during the premiere which Tchaikovsky conducted himself. The orchestra is the New York Philharmonic being conducted by Leonard Bernstein. Overture to Candide-New York Philharmonic, Leonard Bernstein- Conductor and composer Salvation is Created- The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps Brass Chorale- The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (They sing too!!!)
